Frogs

Description
This is a charming work by Judy Kensley McKie
The photos posted on Artsy are very close to how the work actually looks like in person.
There is some faint horizontal streaking across the center part of the frog and creates a slight inconsistency of green. This appears to be organic and from the hand of the artist.
There is other streaking of color on the edges of the work as well. Again, this appears to be organic.
Basically, the work is in excellent condition.
As an object, it has some weightiness to it when being held in one's hand. The carving is crisp, consistent and concise.
It also looks good from a side and 3/4 angle. There is pattern decoration on all 4 sides of the work.
Gallery Naga sticker on verso. The work is initialed and date on verso. ©JKM2010
The work is just recently listed and the price is firm. It looks great in person. -
