Description
Ebonized, elliptical tiger maple top on split-sided, hand-sculpted walnut base with blackwood pegs at points of exposed joinery. End cuts on stretcher echo ellipses above. Mortised rail at floor connects the two halves of each side allowing wood movement into the gap between; also serves as feet. Hand rubbed oil finish on base and choice of oil or lacquer finish on top.
