Description
Werkstätte Carl Auböck 'Nun' table lamp.
Designed in 1950, this versatile and Minimalist Viennese lamp is executed in brass with a cast iron base and sculptural hard paper shade by Werkstätte Carl Auböck, Austria.
Price is per item. Other shade colors available on request.
Authorized re-edition produced by Carl Auböck IV in the original Aubock workshop in the 7th district of Vienna using the same exacting standers, high-quality materials, original molds and techniques of his legendary namesake. Aubock's design career was long and varied, reaching its pinnacle of prestige at the Triennale di Milano in 1954, where he received four gold medals in recognition of his iconic work.
Two lamps currently in stock in Los Angeles for immediate shipment. For time sensitive orders, please inquire on availability prior to purchasing. Finish varies from item to item due to the handmade nature of their fabrication. Made to order.
Accommodates 1x standard medium base (e26) bulb, (LED only- 60 watt equivalent); 10.8' black textile cord with inline on/off switch and US male plug.
Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing available from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee.
Please note only one representative example is featured in the images. Finish may vary from piece to piece due to their handmade nature. Brass is not lacquered and will develop a natural patina over time and may already shows signs of patination due to handling, exposure to the elements, and storage. Original shine can be restored with a brass polish. -
