Tall and slender table lamp by Gunnar Nylund (1904-1997) for Nymølle Studio, having an attenuated vase form with comical neck and tapered body, in stoneware glazed with speckled effect in two values of French blue, Denmark, mid-20th century. Underside inscribed “G.N.” “Nymølle [script] N Denmark” (Note dimensions given -- 17. 5 in. (44 cm) x 6 in. (15 cm) D -- account for just the base)
