Harald Notini was a Swedish architect and designer, born on October 27, 1892, in Stockholm, Sweden, and passed away on September 6, 1965, in Vaxholm, Sweden. He is considered one of the leading architects of functionalism in Sweden and made significant contributions to modern Swedish design during the first half of the 20th century.
 
Notini designed a range of buildings, including residential homes, apartment buildings, and public buildings. He was known for his clean, minimalistic designs that emphasized functionality, efficiency, and simplicity. One of his most notable works is the Helsingborg Concert Hall, which he designed in collaboration with Sven Markelius.
 
Notini was also a skilled furniture designer, creating pieces that were characterized by their clean lines, natural materials, and understated elegance. He collaborated with several Swedish furniture manufacturers, including Svenskt Tenn, and his designs were highly influential in shaping the Scandinavian modernist aesthetic.
 
Some of Notini's most famous furniture designs include the 707 chair, which he created in 1933, and the 1923 armchair, which he designed in collaboration with the furniture manufacturer Karl Andersson & Söner. His furniture designs were highly sought after during his lifetime and remain highly prized by collectors and design enthusiasts today.
