This gorgeous pair of Hollywood Art Deco end tables or nightstands was realized by the esteemed American producer Grosfeld House, circa 1945. They a raised scroll design in the center of each cabinet panel, which is repeated in the sinuous curves of the tables silhouettes. Each includes its own original Carrara marble top offering distinctive stone grain in tones of oyster shell and dove gray. The tables feature a drawer with a silverleaf pull resembling a key bow- a form that is repeated for the pull of the cabinet door. Inside, there is a central shelf, making it easy to store any number of items. These attractive tables evoke old world Hollywood glamour combined with the clean lines and sumptuous materials of American Art Deco at its finest. They represent a great find for collectors of the period, or for someone simply looking for a gorgeous pair of end tables/nightstands. The original Grosfeld House tag remains in each drawer. Mint restored condition.
