This bold and sophisticated ottoman and chair was realized by the esteemed furniture maker, Stendig, in Italy circa 1970. They feature overlapping curvilinear supports in lustrous chrome that attach to the base of each piece. The ottoman offers a button tufted top- a pattern that recurs on the seat of the chair. The lounge chair has a button back, angled arms and a gently sloped back, which is supported by two curved chrome bars that are adjoined with a rectangular crossbar covered in graphite mohair, making it equally stunning from every angle. With their refined palate and clean modernist lines, these pieces are as versatile as they are aesthetically compelling, blending perfectly with any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. They have been newly reupholstered.
