Original Art Deco Gouache on Paper by Erte in White Gold Custom Frame

Description
Vibrant original Art Deco gouache on paper of a theatrical costume design signed Erte at the lower right. An exquisite stylized depiction of a female figure posed in a revealing evening dress holding a propeller plane by the tail in her right hand. Around each arm are scrolling parchments inscribed "Plan" and "Project". Double matted in acid free silk and contained under glass in a carved white gold custom frame. The piece is 17 by 20 framed, the image size is 12 high by 9.25 wide. It is in excellent condition; this was done in France circa 1930 and is in excellent condition.
