French Midcentury Double Level Brass & Glass Coffee Table, Gilbert Poillerat
-
Description
Exceptional, rare French Mid-Century Modern neoclassical double level, solid brass cocktail table attributed to Gilbert Poillerat, circa 1950-1960.
The table is composed of a lower level with a mirrored top and an upper level of clear glass which creates an open, transparent sensibility. The captivating legs are composed of bold sold brass feet and Classic acorn finials which hold delicately twisting columns. Delicately suspended from the legs is the open framework low level adding an architectural element to the composition.
