    Henry N. Hooper (1799-1865) was an apprentice of Paul Revere in his Boston foundry. He later purchased the foundry and established Henry N. Hooper & Co., manufacturer of fine chandeliers, girandoles, Argand lamps, and other decorative items of cast and gilt bronze. This 5 candle pair is enhanced by six cut-glass lusters suspended from each bobeche; for a total of 30 lusters per each candelabrum.

Five decades of antiques collecting experience in a succession of Historic Register homes in Virginia, New York, and Connecticut; and a 1901 beaux arts building on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Open Thursday through Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and on Tuesday and Wednesday by appointment.
