Description
Pair of 1950s Giuseppe Ostuni model 109 articulating wall lamps for O-Luce. An extremely rare matched pair executed in brass and white painted metal by one of the most refined Italian designers of the midcentury. A highly adjustable wall light, the jointed arms can be rotated right/left and raised up/down while the shade rotates freely. O-Luce was one of the most innovative lighting design companies in Italy during the midcentury era. Their exceptionally refined designs have been long sought after by collectors in the know. Price is for the pair. Rewired for US electrical with two new black cloth cord and period styled US wall plug. Fully extended measures: 10.5 inches deep by 6 inches high Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing available from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Literature in "O-Luce: Apparecchi per L'illminazione" pub. Luminaires-Moderniste, pp. 58-59.
