Description
A brilliant silver gilt Louis Philippe-style mirror, from 19th century France. The frame is smaller in size, making the mirror an ideal bathroom mirror. The silver gilt is in excellent antique condition, with an incredible metallic luster and nearly completely intact. The gilt frame houses the mirror’s original mercury glass, which has aged marvelously along with the rest of the antique piece. There is a cross-hatched design etched into the silver gilt, adding a touch of ornamentation to this otherwise reserved mirror. An absolute classic. c.1880.
