Mid-Century Club Chair in Faux Lambswool
-
Description
Design of the Mid-Century Modern period carried with it many themes such as the pursuit of simplicity or developing modularity to outfit an entire room. One common thread in the designers’ respective missions was undoubtedly, comfort.
There exist countless pieces from the Mid-Century which are not recognized with the name of a prominent designer or manufacturer - nevertheless they maintain a degree of importance due to their Mid-Century Modern motif of the time. Such is true with the shown club chair, excellent proportions yet sleek low-profile design lines which enable the chair to have a subtle presence in the room and not demand too much attention.
We’ve restored and upholstered the chair with a performance grade faux-lambswool in the color Fog. The chair simply embraces you with comfort when it’s sat on, the lambswool acts as an inviting blanket and the tight seat and back upholstery eliminates the fuss of adjusting cushions. The walnut legs remain in their original satin finish displaying subtle rich patina -
