Description
Oil on artist board painting of a misty morning in Gloucester Harbor by the Provincetown artist, Kay Kellogg. Signed lower left. Circa 1935. The painting depicts fishermen beginning their day at the Gloucester Harbor docks. The painting is framed in a semi-antique gold leaf frame but not of the period of the painting. Overall framed measurements are 15.5 by 19.5 inches. Condition of painting and frame are very good.
Kay L. Kellogg was known for her portraits and seascape paintings. She was a member of the Provincetown Art Club. -
