Antique Vintage Brass Mortar and Pestle
-
Description
This early 20th-century mortar and pestle made of brass with an honest patina. Both the mortar and pestle are traditional in style. The mortar has a classic bell-shaped body typical of the style and the pestle has round ends on each side. Brass mortar and pestles were used for both food and apothecary. This makes a lovely decorative piece on a bookshelf, kitchen, or bar, and looks even better as a collection with similar mortar and pestles. Pestle measures 8.5" x 1"
