Giancarlo Mattioli 'Nessino' table lamp in orange for Artemide.
With its mushroom shape and bright hues, the Nessino lamp has become a design icon. Introduced in 1967, the Nessino was a marvel of ABS thermoplastic injection-molding, bringing affordable industrial materials and methods to the home and office environments. With a dash of color and a design inspired from nature, Nessino fits into a wide range of interiors.
Price is per item. Available to order in unlimited quantities in white, orange, red, blue, light blue, black, yellow, and green. Also available in the larger Nesso model - please see our separate listings. This listing is for the Nessino in orange.

Born in 1933, Italian designer Giancarlo Mattioli was part of the Urban Architects Group “Città Nuova” - a union of young professionals established in the early 1960s in Bologna, Italy who decided to engage in collective architecture and urban design.
