This stunning side chair was realized by the esteemed American designer Russel Wright in the United States, circa 1940. It features four conical splayed legs in ebonized walnut; and a curvilinear stylized s-form body with button back detailing that has been newly reupholstered in a luxe slate mohair. With its clean modernist lines (realized by one of the period's greats) and monochromatic palate, this piece would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Art Deco to contemporary. It has been newly reupholstered and restored to mint condition.
