Description
Pair of late 19th century French marble column pedestals
French, Late 19th Century
Height 95.5cm, width 36cm, depth 36cm
Consisting of round columns, with Tuscan-style capitals, and square mounts and bases with rounded corners, these marble pedestals are of a simple and refined design, and all the stronger as a result as display stands for a variety of suitable objects, antique or otherwise. Made in France in the second half of the nineteenth century, they are the perfect complementary pair of pedestals to elevate without detraction the objects they display. -
