Description
Ombra lounge chair, designed by Charlotte Perriand in 1953 and relaunched by Cassina in 2004. Cassina lounge chair, featuring a steel frame and leather upholstery. The interplay between the object and its shadow (“ombra” in Italian) expresses Perriand’s aesthetic, where function is maximised while structure is minimised. The Ombra lounge chair is an exquisitely elegant and highly inventive design. This piece features straight geometric lines flowing into one another, making it look as if it’s one continuous piece. Although this piece has been re-issued by Cassina, it’s been relaunched in full respect of the original concept.
We have two lounge chairs available, in great original condition, priced per piece. -
