Description
These beautiful 1960s pine chairs are made on behalf of the firm I. Christiansen in Denmark. The coarse shapes result in a sculptural look and the pine wood is finished with a dark stain and giving the chairs a warm patina. The small scratches that have arisen over the years contribute to a characteristic appearance. Furthermore, a traditional technique was used for the wood connections. The backrest is attached to the seat with a mortise and tenon joint. Mr. Kielland-Brandt also decided not to hide the wood connection but to show it very emphatically. The seats lean back slightly and the seating comfort is therefore very pleasant. It's also a very robust set and with their sleek and pronounced shape, they neatly fit into a wide range of interior styles.
