This stunning and rare Mid-Century Modernist Silver Plate Ice Bucket originates from France, Circa 1950. A true gem brimming with elegance, the rounded handles are inlaid with genuine Lapiz Laulie, a highly rare and sought after mineral originating from Afghanistan and used for centuries in painting and design for it's remarkable blue, used by artists before chemical alternatives to create Ultramarine pigment. With a subtly detailed edge beneath the rim and tapered profile, the beauty of the handles and overall scale are on full display. This Ice Bucket is an incredible addition for those with a love of the finest Mid-Century Modernist accessories and barware, sure to style beautifully in a wide array of interiors from Mid-Century to Modern and Contemporary Spaces. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
