Exceptional large petrified wood sink in absolute top quality. This organic modern sink impresses with a beautiful shape and a fantastic natural coloration in beige, brown and grey tones which are matchless. The inside of the sink shows a polished surface while the outside impresses with its unique rough petrified look.
Petrification is the result of a tree having been replaced by stone via a mineralization process that often includes permineralization and replacement. The organic materials making up cell walls have been replicated with minerals. Unlike other plant fossils, which are typically impressions or compressions, petrified wood is a three-dimensional representation of the original organic material which took millions of years to built.
