Description
Coffee table model 751 by Ico Parisi for Cassina. This beautiful timeless coffee table has an architectural character and can be used effortlessly in a variety of interior styles. It was designed in 1962 by the famous Italian architect Ico Parisi. The solid rosewood frame is ingeniously constructed and shows a variety of connections that together form a layering. We see double dowel connections on each leg, which in turn are positioned asymmetrically from each other. The bottom beams sit against the longest beam that runs across the width and the ones above protrude slightly. Raised edges ensure that the glass top remains fixed to the frame.A dark and endearing appearance of the rosewood naturally adds another element of charm. The result is a coffee table that has rightly secured a position within the canon of mid-century design classics. With the exception of minimal signs of use such as small scratches and discolorations, this item is in very good condition. The Cassina label also appears on the bottom of the frame.
