Description
This rare lounge chair was designed by Gösta Jonsson and produced in Jönköping, Sweden in the late 1940s. The beautifully curved backrest makes this a very comfortable and embracing chair to sit. The buttoned back and seat emphasize the elegant shape of the design. The chair retains it's original fabric in a striking, multicolored floral print. Overall, the fabric has been preserved well, with some minor age related signs of wear. If desired, the chair can be newly upholstered according to your personal wishes, please contact us to learn more about the possibilities. The tapered legs are in flamed, solid birch wood and have been restored and refinished, preserving the original patina.
