Large French coffee table oak wood petrified wood and slate top 1960
-
Description
This large modernist French coffee table made in solid oak wood is sure to add an element of French brutalism to any living room. It was designed and produced in France by an unknown cabinetmaker in the 1960s. It features a large slick petrified wood and slate marquetry varnished top resting on a solid brutalist oak wood base. This coffee table is a wonderful example of the French Modernism of the 1950s and 1960s, and reminiscent of Charlotte Perriand and Pierre Chapo pieces. It has been fully restored, wood revarnished, and is in a beautiful condition. A monumental table, rare in these dimensions, that can be placed as a standout in your living room.
