Outstanding looking petrified wood sink in absolute top quality with polished basin. The outstanding natural coloration in beige, brown and yellow tones is matchless. An exceptional piece elaborately worked out of petrified wood impressing with a beautiful shape and this organic rough look on the outside. Petrifaction is the result of a tree having been replaced by stone via a mineralization process that often includes permineralization and replacement. The organic materials making up cell walls have been replicated with minerals. Unlike other plant fossils, which are typically impressions or compressions, petrified wood is a three-dimensional representation of the original organic material which took millions of years to built.
