Description
Pair of 1960s Cosack Leuchten Brass & White Metal Wall Lights.
Executed in white painted metal shade and backplate with attractively patinated brass arm. A very architectural and refined wall lamp that can be easily adjusted to various angles and positions, allowing for a variety of configurations.
The Gebrüder Cosack company was founded in 1833 as a metal processing plant in Germany. It was only after the second World War that Cosack began producing lighting, collaborating with designers such as Gottfried Stürzenhofecker, Hans Wilfried Hegger, and Jan Armgardt. The company went on to win 15 iF Design Awards and is still highly regarded by discerning collectors.
Price is for the pair.
Each lamp accommodates 1x 60W equivalent standard candelabra base (e12) LED bulb (LED only). Professionally rewired for US electrical and for mounting over standard US j-box. Retains original backplate with original switch. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Contact us to facilitate.
Some age appropriate scuffs, dings, nicks, patina, and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy. Please note only one representative example appears in the photos, but both lamps in comparable good condition and present well as a pair. More images available upon request. -
