Large Split Grain Pinewood Light Sculpture

Large Split Grain Pinewood Light Sculpture. Handcrafted by 20th century artist Paul Foeckler, this one of a kind illuminated sculpture reveals the elemental form and grain in a piece of reclaimed wood from the Douglas Fir tree. Fascinating details and hidden beauty are revealed from light emitting from the center of the sculpture, flowing out between each individual slice suspended on an aluminum armature. The warm light traces the contours of the wood capturing beautiful patterns from all angles. Standing just under 50 inches tall, the sculpture is lit from both the top and bottom to give its central section a perfectly even distribution of light.

Accommodates MR16 LED bulbs. Ships with a 6’ black cloth cord, 2 prong US wall plug, 115V AC. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Contact us to facilitate.
