An early ‘Afghan Hound’ umbrella stand by the incredibly creative, Piero Fornasetti, c.1955. One of the eight trompe l’oeil dog umbrella stands Fornasetti designed, this slender, long haired canine is portrayed in a seated position, sporting a large gold neck chain. Retains the remnants of a partial label on the reverse and comes complete with its original metal drip tray – your very own low-maintenance faithful friend!
