A beautiful and delicate brass table lamp designed by Mauri Almari and manufactured by Idman in the 1950s in Finland. Despite the small size of this lamp the combination of brass & rattan creates a very nice warm visual. The simplified look is topped off with extra attention to quality and details. The brass stem has a beautiful design resembling a four leaf clover.
The simplicity of so many Finnish designers touch makes their items sought after world wide. Mauri Almari (1907-1973) was a prominent designer at the Idman factory alongside Paavo Tynell and Gunnel Nyman before that. His name is synonymous with many iconic Idman lamps. -
