Starting his career in Vienna during the 1920s, Bosse quickly established a reputation. His creations are marked by straightforward yet evocative shapes, frequently imbued with humor and appeal. In the 1950s, he initiated his celebrated "black gold" series, featuring animal sculptures created through a patination process on brass.
