Description
This remarkable Mid-Century Modernist hand-blown Murano feather glass chandelier, designed by the renowned Mazzega, hails from Italy circa 1980. The chandelier features an array of exquisite amber-colored Murano glass feathers, each meticulously hand-blown, showcasing the unparalleled skill and artistry synonymous with Murano glassmaking.
The undulating and delicate feather-like glass elements create a beautiful and organic visual effect, offering both texture and a warm, inviting glow when illuminated. These luxurious glass components are elegantly supported by brass fittings that add a touch of opulence and complement the amber hues perfectly.
This chandelier exemplifies the marriage of mid-century modern design principles with exceptional craftsmanship, making it a standout piece for any sophisticated interior. Its timeless elegance and distinctive design ensure it will be the focal point of any room, adding both light and refined beauty to the space. With a height that can be adjusted to suit, this piece is newly rewired to American Standards and accommodates 12 edison base bulbs achieving up to 1200 watts of light. In Excellent Vintage Condition. -
