Description
Dimensions: 17 ½” H x 14” W x 6 ½” D
A substantial pair of heavy gilt bronze wall sconces, Louis XVI style, hand-crafted in France in the 19th century. Each of these lustrous sconces feature Neoclassical symbols of the French Empire: urns at the top of the columns, fluted and foliate motifs, and festooned elements decorating the entire surface. Both of these heavy fixtures are fitted with two candle arms for medium-base bulbs, they have been professionally rewired for US electrical with UL listed parts and are ready to be installed in your interior. An indecipherable hallmark is visible on the back of one sconce, for the foundry or the designer. Be sure to view all the images to see the incredible details of these impressive sconces.
