Signed Scavo Glass Vase by Archimede Seguso, Murano, Italy, 20th Century
-
Description
This large Murano glass vase was made by Archimede Seguso, one of the most respected glassmakers in Italy. It features a beautiful scavo finish, a special technique that gives the glass a soft, frosted look—similar to ancient glass that has been buried and aged over time. The vase has a wide, flared shape and sits on a sturdy round base. In the center, there is a decorative amber-colored ribbed glass detail that adds contrast and warmth to the piece.
The vase is signed by Archimede Seguso on the rim, confirming its authenticity. It is both decorative and collectible, perfect for adding a touch of Italian artistry to any space.
