Description
Striking vintage sterling silver necklace handcrafted in Taxco, Mexico—an iconic center of Mexican silversmithing and modernist design. This sculptural piece features a beautifully articulated chain of stylized leaf-form links, culminating in a bold circular pendant adorned with applied leaf motifs and dimensional beadwork at its center.
Marked “TD-30 Mexico 925”, the necklace reflects the mid-century Taxco tradition of handcrafted artistry, where organic forms and refined silverwork merge into wearable sculpture. The repeating leaf elements create fluid movement along the neckline, while the substantial round medallion anchors the piece with strong visual presence—making it ideal for both personal wear and display.
Highly desirable among collectors of Mexican Modernism and vintage Taxco silver, this necklace also serves as a compelling decorative accent for interior designers styling curated spaces, dressing tables, or gallery-like installations.
