Description
Impressive rustic Tramp Art wall mirror out of Austria from the period around 1840 - one of the oldest Tramp Art mirrors we have ever offered. This rare rural wall mirror shows an absolute outstanding design, elaborately hand carved out of basswood. The unusual dark brown, nearly black looking frame impresses with artfully chip carvings, protruding corners and very finely crafted diamond designs. Wooden, artfully carved leaves additionally decorate each corner of this extraordinary, over 180 year old Tramp Art mirror. A real unique piece in our very popular Tramp Art collection.
