The base is signed by the artist.
Gianni Beccafichi, born in 1941 in Perugia, Italy.
He is the grandson of ceramist Mariano Beccafichi, with whom he created his first works between the late 1950s and 1962 at the Pucci ceramic factory in Umbertide (Perugia, Italy). He spent the last years of his life between France and Italy, where he taught ceramics courses at the renowned Bose Monastery. -
