Description
Large Studio B.B.P.R 'Polinnia' glass and chrome table lamp, c. 1964 for Artemide.
Executed in chromed brass and pressed (holophane) glass and designed by the Milan based collective founded by Gian Luigi Banfi, Lodovico Barbiano di Belgiojoso, Enrico Peressutti and Ernesto Nathan Rogers. B.B.P.R.'s postwar designs were one of Artemide's first collaborations with designers. With it's generous scale and geometric shade, the 'Polinnia' provides a soft glow when lit and makes a beautiful accent light on end tables, consoles, or other areas in need of statement lighting.
