An exquisite Swedish Grace ceiling lamp from the 1930s that captures the elegance and craftsmanship of the Art Deco era. Its striking blue glass shade, almost 60cm wide, with a shallow profile, is adorned with delicately embossed plant motifs that suggest flowing seaweed or aquatic flora, lending the piece a gentle marine character and mimicing a sea bed above which rises three mythical sea creatures in cast brass / bronze — an enchanting combination of a horse and mermaid — a design detail that beautifully reflects the romanticism and imagination of the period and casts a shadow on the ceiling when the lamp is lit. These sculptural elements, paired with the twisted stem and rich patina of the metal, bring depth and sophistication to the composition.

The lamp has been rewired to meet current electrical standards.
