Created in the 1950s, this platinum line bracelet is set with rubies and diamonds. It is designed as a channel-set line of square step-cut rubies, approximate total weight 7.20 carats, interspersed with old European-cut diamonds. Ever modern and versatile, this elegant form free from extraneous ornament is a line of vivid red along the wrist, easily stackable with further gemmy or plain polished bracelets or bangles.

Stacks of platinum bracelets first became a staple of the elegant ensemble of the 1920s, which often featured sleeveless gowns. The style has never fallen from favor. Line bracelets could be worn in colorful stacks set with various noble stones such as sapphires and emeralds, or alternated with broader strap bracelets of diamonds and calibré-cut gems.
