-
Description
A beautiful example of Finnish art deco craftsmanship. A beautiful piece with stained birch, cast brass, and blown glass shades. The rod has a string wrap as typical with the lamps of the period. The lamp is in its original condition and the blown glass shades are light beige with a hint of creamy colour, and are astonishingly beautiful and delicate, especially with the lights on. The lamp is stamped PSO which is Pohjoismainen Sähkö Oy (Nordic Electric Company). A Finnish company established in 1918 and produced high quality lamp fixtures well into the second half of the 20th century.
