An Elegant and Timeless Italian Midcentury Modern Flush Mount Fixture or Pendant, in Solid Brass, Arranged in the Form of a Sunburst / Starburst, by the noted Italian design firm, Stilnovo circa 1958. The chandelier has 10 slender, tapered round arms that are angled downward from the large round brass canopy and are designed for candelabra sockets. They will spread even, continuous light throughout a room. The piece is multi-functional. It is designed as a flush mount but with the addition of a round brass stem I can function as a chandelier set to your desired height or it can be used with a decorative brass chain as a pendant. Stilnovo was one of the leading Italian lighting companies of the Mid-Century period.
