WU Design
Drawing from his background in architecture, Wesley approaches object design by pairing technological proficiency with traditional craft. This integration allows him to achieve precision through digital fabrication without relying on an exclusively digital process. Much of his work investigates how unnatural geometries respond to physical forces, ultimately embedding those forces into solid material. Through this process, each piece reveals the hidden complexity that emerges at the intersection of light, material, and form; resulting in a presence that feels both natural and uncanny.
Wesley is a solo design practitioner and fabricator based in Northern Arizona. He founded his studio following a tenure in Los Angeles at the Morphosis Architects fabrication shop. He has designed and led projects for private museums worldwide, and high-end residences across the United States. The studio welcomes commissions across a wide range of scales.
