Description
A rare asymmetrical wall mirror, designed by Max Ingrand and produced for Fontana Arte, Italy, circa 1958
With a dusty rose / apricot colored asymmetrical glass frame, the floating central mirror is affixed with two brass mounts. The maker's label is attached to the rear of the mirror plate. The floating glass evokes an ethereal beauty and lightness, with its highly sculptural shape and soothing color, the design is a testament to the artisanal excellence inherent to the works of Max Ingrand; of truly masterly craftsmanship and a refinement of design. Truly an artisan piece, hand-crafted with a discerning eye and with the highest level of skill, for which the Fontana Arte Studio was renown for.
