Lynn Ford Architectural Bench From O'Neil Ford Building Texas Instruments Campus
-
Description
Bench No. 1
Solid Oak bench from an O'Neil Ford designed structure on the Texas Instruments Campus in Dallas Texas. Attributed to his brother, Lynn Ford who was a master woodworker who collaborated with the architect on many of his important projects. These benches were acquired from the private collection of a lifelong employee at T.I. who purchased them when one of the buildings was being remodeled during his tenure at the company. The owner had a keen eye for design and had amassed an impressive collection of Herman Miller and Knoll pieces.
We have two identical benches but one was refinished to a slightly darker finish at some point throughout the years.
This listing is for one bench. Both are currently available in separate listings. -
