Description
This exceptionally rare sofa by Jules Heumann by Metropolitan Furniture is a striking example of sculptural mid-century design paired with true, sink-in comfort. Seldom seen on the market, this model stands out for its refined proportions, architectural presence, and generous seating—making it as livable as it is collectible.
The sofa has been newly upholstered in Kravet Smart® performance bouclé, fabric no. 36598-101, a beautifully soft and luxurious textile that offers the rich texture of classic bouclé with modern performance benefits. Designed for real life, this fabric is easy to clean, highly durable, and ideal for everyday use, while remaining elegant and inviting to the touch. Cushions are stuffed with new Goose Down Feathers.
Beautifully crafted solid walnut legs ground the design, with sculptural curved back legs that create a graceful silhouette from every angle. Finished on all sides, this sofa is perfectly suited to float in a room, allowing its thoughtful lines and warm walnut tones to be fully appreciated.
Rare, remarkably comfortable, and visually compelling, this Jules Heumann sofa is a museum-worthy design that effortlessly bridges form and function—an exceptional addition to any interior that values timeless modernism with real-world comfort. Labels ensure authenticity.
