Description
These are in the process of being restored.
A spectacular and authentic pair of “Scissors” chairs designed by Pierre Jeanneret in 1948 and manufactured by Knoll. This iconic design — celebrated for its striking angular profile and refined simplicity — beautifully captures the sculptural elegance of post-war modernism.
The solid wood frames have been very gently refinished while thoughtfully retaining areas of original patina, preserving the history and character of the pieces. The cushions have been fully restored with new foam and upholstered in a stunning moss-green leather. The deep green tones of the leather contrast beautifully against the light, warm wood frames, creating a visually rich and sophisticated presentation.
Petite, versatile, and surprisingly comfortable, these chairs are equally at home in a living room, reading nook, bedroom, or modern design interior. As rare and highly collectible early Knoll production examples, they have been restored with care. A museum-worthy pair for the serious collector or discerning designer.
