Description
A pair of lovely sculptural bookends, affectionately referred to by the Auböck family as “Flat Iron” due to their distinctive form.
Model number 3530-2, designed by Carl Auböck in the 1950s. Handcrafted from solid cast brass with a polished finish and rattan cane-wrapped handles, each piece reflects the traditional craftsmanship of the Auböck family. Excellent condition; fully stamped and marked.

As handcrafted objects, each piece exhibits slight variations in shape and finish. Minor surface nicks are a natural result of the handmade process and should be embraced as part of the objects’ unique character rather than viewed as defects. -
