Description
Designed in 1968 and produced in the 1970s, the Cidonio dining table is a refined example of Italian modernist design. The table features a dark-stained wooden round top paired with a cylindrical polished steel pedestal base. The reflective steel base adds visual lightness while emphasizing the sculptural presence of the piece.
Antonia Astori was an influential Italian architect and designer known for her rational, elegant approach to furniture and interiors. As a co-founder of Driade, she played a pivotal role in shaping the brand’s identity during the late 20th century. Her work often combines rigorous geometry with refined materials, resulting in designs that feel both intellectual and inviting. Astori’s creations remain celebrated for their lasting relevance and understated sophistication. -
