Description
The chandelier we present here is an older model (220 from a vintage Fontana Arte catalog) made by Fontana Arte in the late 1940s. The design is most likely by Pietro Chiesa. The slender brass structure encloses two square sections of satin-finish opaline glass, which contain the four lamp holders. A #-shaped screw secures all the parts. The glass is in perfect condition, while the brass parts show signs of wear and oxidation, as can be seen in the attached photos.
